The aroma diffuser is carved from a solid block of Drohobych salt, created as a gift for CO-HATY project partners. The salt blocks were polished, and the CO-HATY logo was applied using CNC milling. A scented spray is applied to the surface, turning the salt block into an aroma diffuser.
Material origin: salt stone from the Drohobych salt works, a by-product of salt extraction, reimagined as a material for product design.

CO-HATY is a grassroots initiative founded in 2022 by architects in Ivano-Frankivsk in response to the housing crisis caused by the war. The team initially converted abandoned municipal buildings into temporary housing for displaced people. The initiative has since grown: today, CO-HATY is a foundation that, alongside building housing, also develops the management of permanent affordable housing for vulnerable groups.
