In POLE's workshops, we work with bioplastics and other biodegradable materials, exploring their potential as environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional materials. In laboratory conditions, we develop, test and adapt materials based on natural components that can partially or fully replace plastic, synthetic polymers, or animal-derived materials. One area of research is kombucha, a biomaterial with distinctive aesthetic and functional properties that opens up new possibilities for product design. Thanks to their versatility, these materials are suited to prototyping, series production, and custom solutions for specific requirements.
