Product Design Center POLE, together with the dairy company Halychyna, transformed yogurt lids into a keyring shaped like a traditional "cheese pony" (syrnyi konyk).

The project began with research into the tradition of making these ponies at the Kosiv farmer’s market. Combining this age-old craft with POLE's approach to upcycling, the team decided to create exact replicas of the cheese ponies from recycled yogurt lids. 3D specialists scanned a cheese pony, created a digital model, and used photopolymer 3D printing to produce a mould into which plastic from shredded yogurt lids was later pressure-cast. To ensure each "pony" turned out perfectly, the pieces were hand-finished, with decorative elements made from recycled plastic.
