The technology of Roman concrete for more than a thousand years, it was used by the Romans, building various structures and aqueducts. The peculiarity of Roman concrete is that it is an extremely strong and durable material, much more durable than ordinary bricks or concrete.

At the same time, the traditional composition of this building material is quite simple — putzolan (volcanic ash), lime and water. We tested different recipes with three to four elements. They added sand, bricks, clay and charcoal from different regions of Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkov and Kherson region.

The longer Roman concrete products dry, the more it is bonded, and the formed cracks self-tighten.

For the manufacture of the table, we poured the base into a special mold, the table surface is a stainless steel countertop.
